Nestled in a clearing surrounded by the colorless half-dead trees, the various shades of gray leaves scattered across the ground making a nice crunch when stepped on, is the campsite made for the trip. It's not a fancy affair as one would expect from the limited resources, but has a sense of homeliness to its step-up. At the start of the day tents are erected, the largest ones to store the supplies for the next couple days, and a fire bed is made toward the center of the space for the campfire that will start up as the sun sets closer to night.
The sound of wildlife is everywhere, from chirping birds to cricketing bugs, and distant pattering steps of animals who are smart enough to not crash through what is sure to be a populated area in their territory. If you ignore the eerie sounds of the incomprehensible whispers coming from every direction, it’s almost enough to be normal. It'll be a chilly day so everyone should be wearing appropriate clothes for the weather, but the good news is that there'll be a lot of sunshine from the thankfully restored sun!
Sad that the forest itself is not so festive, but at least the fire at night will be a warm mix of purple and red, with the firewood turning dull merlot underneath the contact. Sunset turns the sky into shades of purple, and when six o’clock hits the sky will turn a sharp dark blue with the stars lighting up the night for the rest of their evening.

i. Daytime Events (14th or 15th)
- [Thankfully, their trek into the forest doesn’t take too long at all. Just as had been mentioned, the campsite is just far enough to make the town out of sight, and feel a little out of reach, but not so deep that there’s any immediate danger. Things start early on the 14th, and after their night over in the woods, they’ll stay well into the 15th before returning, as well. There are a large number of things to do at any time, so it’s time to get started!
a. Hunting
Everyone is going to have to eat throughout their stay in the woods! That means there’s some work cut out for those who are capable of hunting, and maybe even those who are a little less than capable. There are the normal mutated animals throughout the woods— extra limbs, wings when there shouldn’t be, too many teeth, and so on. Remember, sometimes that means that a friendly woodland squirrel can shoot out fire, so be careful! That’s not the only thing you’ll have to watch out for, either. There are certain parts of the woods that will cause character powers and abilities to go wonky. They may suddenly be unable to use them, lack control of them, or become significantly stronger. These issues only occur in certain pockets of the forest, so you may step into it one minute and out of it the next!
b. Gathering wood
The next thing that everyone’s going to be needing before nightfall is firewood. That means knocking down and cutting up trees however you can! You’ll still have to watch out for those pocket areas of the forest that may mess with your powers and abilities, and on top of that, it seems not all gray trees are created equal. Certain trees, if chopped down and lit on fire, will induce effects such as suddenly feeling more affectionate or suddenly feeling completely belligerent. Have fun.
c. Activities
With business out of the way, you can finally relax and have some real fun! There are areas set up for a variety of physical games such as tug of war, sports you can play with a ball (it’s probably not the right type of ball, but work with it here), and of course the obstacle course (that begins easy and slowly turns more difficult) that Zelda has lovingly constructed for everyone. Of course, there are also games like hide and seek that you can play, or get creative and come up with something yourself!
d. Morning after/Wrapping up
Whether you slept in a tent or beneath the starry sky, morning comes eventually, and the second day of the trip begins. Was it a comfortable rest? Maybe the affection-causing fumes of the fire have you a little too close to someone nearby. However it is that you wake up, as soon as the sun begins to rise, things begin to take motion again, and Guren won’t let anyone sleep in for too long. Get up and help out, go have your ordered fun.
Of course, once the day nears its end, it’ll be time to pack everything up and head back to the town. Hopefully you’re not too exhausted. There’s plenty to help with, and any slackers can expect to be nagged into helping— unless you manage to slip away. ]

ii. Nighttime Events (14th)
- [Night falls, and the usual whispers from between the trees that can never be understood seem more apparent. Everything is more quiet, a little spookier, but it’s time to settle in and get some sleep. Or maybe you’re not ready to sleep just yet! There’s still so much that can be done, after all.
a. Ghost stories
A camping classic for everyone. Sit around the fire and tell ghost stories, or funny stories, or any stories to a listening group. Try to scare someone out of their wits if you dare. But be warned, as the woods want to play along too. You won’t even realize it until the bone chilling tale is over and no one in the group had ever uttered a word.
b. Night watch
Members of the Defense Force (and anyone tagging along interested in joining or willing to help) will be assigned a specific time or rotation to stay watch. It may be a fun camping trip, but the dangers of the forest are real, and no one wants to end up hurt. Keep an eye on the will o the wisps nearing the outskirts of the camp, just in case anyone is too curious for their own good, but otherwise, at least everything looks relatively safe. The hardest part may just be staying awake.
c. Cookout
With food hunted from the wilderness, it’s time to get to cooking it! Do you even know how to cook a rabbit with four ears? Hope so. Or maybe you just decided to stick with berries from the plants. One way or the other you need to eat and you need to cook your meal. Might be a good idea to grab someone for help if you’re completely clueless.
d. Campfire
As the fire roars starting at early evening and throughout the night, take the time to relax next to the warmth. Even as the forest whispers at night and pixies might try to steal your belongings if they think you aren’t paying attention, after a long day there’s no shame in some downtime. Why, you could even sing some SONGS to get on everyone’s nerves because what brings a group together like 100 bottles of beer on the wall when everyone wishes they could get drunk? Luckily there are plants that only require brief contact on accident to help loosen you up for it.

iii. Events for Day or Night (14th or 15th)
- [Of course, there are some activities that aren’t limited by daylight or nighttime. Relax around the fire, warm yourself from the cold, and have fun!
a. Card/board games
Sad to report that there is no monopoly in Chroma. That said there are plenty of classics here for people to take part in. Care for a game of chess or checkers? If you want to stretch your wits and poker faces, there are few card decks that old and worn but still usable. Make it interesting by throwing out a bet! They’ll be available for those who especially don’t like roughing it out.
b. Chatter
If you want to pass the time, why not take part in some conversation games with your teammates? All in good fun, no? Truth or Dare, Two Truths and a Lie, Never have I ever, Would You Rather -- anything goes so long as you’re willing to play the game.]

iv. Extras (14th or 15th)
- [Aside from all of that, there are a number of general events that can occur at various times throughout the stay in the forest. Many of these can be included or combined with any of the above prompts, so keep that in mind!
a. Pixies
There are thieves in the forest. Pixies will be stealing weapons and belongings the second your back is turned, so watch out! They can be found in the woods and recovered, but you’ll have to track them down to retrieve them, so you might want to ask for some help.
b. Plantlife
Certain plants in and around the campsite, if touched, will induce effects such as: looser inhibitions, a drunken sort of feeling, and a general discarding of sensibility. There’s also the firewood mentioned up above. Certain trees, when chopped down and lit on fire, may induce effects such as suddenly feeling more affectionate or suddenly feeling more belligerent.
c. Will o the wisps
Once nighttime hits, the campsite will be surrounded by glowing lights. Thankfully, they’re benevolent right now, since everyone is so close to the town, and won’t exert any influence on characters. If your character would try to follow them despite that, however, it would lead to something that heavily contradicts the tone of this camping trip, and you’ll have to contact the mods to see what happens. Be warned that there are heavy risks! Maybe just admire them like fireflies from afar, instead? Or save a friend from straying too far.]
OOC. Notes
Like it says above, this event is open to everyone! Defense force members are “forced” (icly, not oocly, obviously) to come, but anyone else is invited, and even if they’d rather crash instead of RSVPing, that’s fine, too. If you need it, the OOC information and plotting post is over here for your reference! If you have any further questions, or if you need to add a warning to the log, PM me or message me atzeloser! That being said, if anything somehow ends up getting NSFW in any of those cute little tents, please take that to your own character journals so I don’t have to lock the entire log. Otherwise, have fun!!

[Minato wants to pull his own weight, of course, on this camping trip. He's dressed in a big green hoodie, making sure to be totally cozy-warm (he doesn't like to be cold), and so it is that he'll be off helping chop down some firewood.
(Is it okay that they're cutting down these trees...? Nothing has happened, but he always wonders...)
Either way! Firewood is being chopped with minimal problems, until those...effects sink in. Minato's luck in that he gets hit with being affectionate over belligerent, so he's going to just come right over to you, poor random soul by the fire, and just kind of silently lean against your shoulder.
What's up!]
[Hopefully you're enjoying the obstacle course. Minato was!
Except now, when you come around a random bend, he's just kind of snoozing against one of the constructed pieces of the obstacle course, hands deeply buried in his pockets and head dipped as his headphones cover his ears.
Really, he thinks the obstacle course is great, but sometimes you just need a nap. Kick him.]
ii. Nighttime
[It was a really good story! Minato's not easily spooked, so he mostly just lifts his head a bit at the story, nodding peacefully.]
That was a--
[.... Hm.
... A long, long pause, and:]
None of us told that story, huh...? ...Spooky.
[COOLIO. GHOSTS. He still seems pretty unconcerned, though. Alternatively, you can absolutely try to scare him here, but it won't be very easy.]
iii. fucking pixies
[There's definitely the most distressed Minato Minato's been so far on this camping trip, thanks, pixies!! Because one moment, his mp3 player is safe around his neck, and the next it's floating through the air, yanked right away as if it's that easy, and Minato makes a small, startled noise before he's scrambling to get to his feet and go after it.
And then, on his way to try to grab it back, eyes fixed on the mp3 player as they are, he trips right over a tree root in his path that he didn't see before. Please laugh at him.
Or help him, I guess.]
[Hit me with whatever, surprise me, or hit me up at
i. b!
He's used a second color of yarn to put a cute little cat face on it, though.]
Hey. Don't tell me you got all worn out already?
[...as if he didn't tap out way earlier himself. He's not very physical, okay.]

At first, he's under the impression this is Akira, because he can't really think of anyone else who would get so touchy with him in front of others, bold move as it is. But once he actually turns to check, it turns out to be... a different Persona protag. Huh. ]

It would be the nice thing to do to leave Minato well enough alone, but the kid's gonna catch a cold, at this rate; it's not exactly warm out here, and they're running on limited resources.
A low hum, and Momo crouches in front of Minato. Don't tease him too much, his shoulder angel says, while his shoulder devil says just a little, just a little.

But actually, that might be worth the embarrassment, because when you're going after a small, fast, thieving little creature, who better to snatch that fucker out of midair before it makes good on its escape than your friendly local anime ninja batman?

[ Maya respects all wildlife, but they do also have to eat, and she respects the wildlife a little less when it's got multiple limbs and a vendetta against her. So she's working for her meals!
And by working, I mean she's currently wrestling a rabbit.
And by wrestling a rabbit, I mean she's frozen a good chunk of the woods by accident while the rabbit with its acid-dripping fangs and its three extra pairs of legs is struggling in her grip and trying to go for the throat.
It's probably fine. ]
[ Nightwatch - Beware Hugs. ]
[ Well, as one of the few responsible(????) adults in this place, Maya is willing to do her fair sure of looking after the others while they're in dreamland. But that firewood sure has her feeling cuddly, so if you opt to join her, she's not even going to offer much of a warning (or any) before she reaches out an arm and tries to tug you against her. ]

[Whether it's pitching tents or checking the perimeter of the campsite to make sure everything's clear, All Might is trying to be as helpful as possible. He's wearing outdoor clothes better suited for camping instead of his hero costume, but that doesn't make him any less colourful in the strangely colourless forest.]
HA HA HA HA HA! I am here to join you in camping, youngsters! Please allow me to help!
[Need help unloading heavy equipment? He is here! Need help carrying huge piles of firewood? His muscles are here! Need someone to punch out an angry mutant bear? His fist is here!
... At least for now. In particular he'll be keen to seek out the squad he was assigned to, but he'll be willing to say hello to anyone who might want a friendly face to talk to.]
14th (daytime) - ...gone the next
[It's barely an hour or so into setting up camp, however, that All Might is already hitting his daily limit. Guren and Zelda had wanted him to stay, but...]
Ah, I forgot something from home! Maybe I left the oven on too! Um, I'm sorry, but I should really go back and check on it! Be good for Ichinose, you hear?!
[And with those not at all suspicious words, he's... dashing off back to town, leaving a comical dust cloud in his wake. What a weirdo.
Maybe if you're fast enough to keep up with superspeed, you can try to follow him?]
[ooc: The above two options are pretty much the only contributions All Might is making to the camping trip before disappearing, but if you want to do anything a little different or try to drag him back to camp, feel free to let me know and we can set something up. o7]
I'm still mobile but I had to

for like ten seconds and then she trips on the ground and falls face first. great!! ]

[Keeping the campfire going to fight off the chill in the daytime is nice! Guren finished helping gather as much as he could, and now he's at the campsite, watching all of the activities taking place. That's all he had intended to do, really. Watch. But as the fumes from the fire make him feel more and more affectionate, it becomes more difficult to fight.
So, he joins in! Maybe he's playing tug of war with himself against five kids, or maybe he's jumping into some sort of a ball game with a laugh and a taunt. He won't do the obstacle course himself, but he will be there to affectionately ruffle the hair of anyone who manages to complete it— or if they tried their best and got as far as they could, that earns one, too.
Actually, no matter where you are in the camp, you're at risk for an affectionate hair ruffle as he grins. That's the most he'll allow himself to give, after all.]
Well, aren't you having fun. [See? Fun for all, after all.]
ii(b)
[You might notice that Guren assigned everyone a night watch time, including himself, but that he's awake at just about any hour of the night, sitting cross-legged near the campfire and watching the flames. He's keeping a careful eye on the will o the wisps surrounding the campsite, but he doesn't so much as glance at anyone who comes to join him, too focused on the fire and drawing lines in the dirt with a stick.]
Don't bug me if you're going to try to cuddle. [It's mostly a joke, he's just thinking to himself here, and he won't chase anyone away for real. He's been spending a fair amount of time in front of that campfire, actually, since he doesn't have a tent of his own. Did he even bring blankets? Well, at least he's dressed in a winter jacket with a fur-lined hood, a faded sort of purple-blue in color, and he's got a red scarf wrapped around himself, as well. He's warm enough, even if he does glance a little extra at any pairs of people who might be cuddling.]
wildcard
[And, lastly, since he's the number one authority on this trip, he'll be watching out for shenanigans Is it as innocent as burning food because you don't know how to cook over an open fire? Or are you suddenly belligerent and causing trouble? Whatever it is, as long as it's disruptive or it seems like you need help in some way, Guren steps up just in time, arms crossed, staring incredulously.]
What the hell are you doing? [Go on, explain yourself.]
ooc (And for those who wanted to join the defense force and hit Guren's post up for it, or who want to join after the fact, you can still message me! I added the two who said they'd join after the camping trip so go check out your squads which will last until next month!)
wildcard
Causing so much trouble. All of the trouble.
[All of it.
Okay no he's just peering closely at one of the piles of firewood with a thoughtful expression, hands shoved into his hoodie pocket, and if he was anyone else he probably would be plotting Shenanigans.
As it is, though...]
Weird, isn't it? That these trees still don't have color.

[ as everyone is heading out and going their separate ways, zelda is looking around the camp grounds and making sure everything is collected. things are quiet now and the festivities are over, but she still feels obligated to help keep the area nicely clean and make sure anything lost is found.
she's admittedly wiped but still! if you want to get a word in with her now is a good time. ]

pixie panic!
... okay so he's more princely than a knight, and while his suit isn't quite shining, it is rather flashy, but regardless! What matters is that he is here now, with Robin Hood in tow and one Megidola spell to strike down all pixies at once. Is it a little overkill? Maybe. But he's already dealing with one fleeing party member today, he's keeping this squad in one place by all means necessary!! ]

[ He's not scared of ghosts. He's not. He's just listening to the stories with wide eyes and a pale face and acts unusually snappish if anyone interrupts him. And when it turns out there was a story being told by no one in particular, Yata is one of the first people to hop up from the circle and powerwalk to safety.
About five minutes later, when the tension from the storytelling session hasn't yet had a chance to wear off, Yata is minding his own business tending to one of the cooking fires when something lands on his shoulder. His only reaction, of course, is to let out a terrified shriek and leap away from whatever it is, flailing briefly before he backs himself right over a log and falls flat on his back.
A very, very confused mouse-like creature freezes at the sound of Yata's scream, then dashes off into the darkness. Not being able to tell what it was just makes Yata even more uneasy. ]

[ Let there be no mistake: Yata is a good cook. He's also a helpful one. He's already managed to finish and eat his food, be he knows this whole trip is about team-building. So rather than abandoning everyone else to their fate, he instead approaches someone who seems to be struggling and... ]

Daytime:
A: Gathering Wood
[Akira isn't exactly a city boy, but he's never cut down a tree before. And so, he's standing in front of one particularly suitable looking specimen (as far as he knows, which isn't much), debating how he's supposed to do this without something going wrong.
He looks over and spots someone nearby.]
Do you know how to chop down trees?
[How is he even planning on doing this without any tools, anyway?]
B: Obstacle Course
[Now this seems fun. Akira has gotten past the first through hurdles fairly enough, climbing on his belly or scaling a wall. But now... what is this? Logs standing upright over some mud, so if they don't want to get muddy, they have to jump across the tops of the skinny logs.
He's pretty sure he can do it, but he looks at whoever might be there with him. If this is a friendly jaunt through the obstacle course, he'll ask:]
Can you handle this?
[But if this is a competition... sorry, but he isn't pausing here, jumping up onto the logs.]
Catch me if you can.
Nighttime:
C: Cooking By Campfire
[This isn't really anything Akira has done, either, but he thinks he can figure it out well enough. He has some sort of cleaned meat (he didn't feel like asking what it was) at the end of a stick, holding it out over the fire.
This is the way it works in movies, right?]
...I haven't done this kind of thing since I was a kid.
D: After Dinner
[At some point in the evening, Akira went off into the woods, and in doing so, touched some kind of plant. It really doesn't seem to be affecting him that much, though, as he looks up at the stars.
Until he... starts to list one way...
And then stumble the other...
And then stumble back the other way before stopping and finally looking down, laughing to himself.
At least he's a happy drunk.]
[[Or wildcard me!]]
nighttime wildcards
Seeing as his overzealous attitude about Akira's ways has gotten them into an awkward place before, Akechi mostly tries to keep his mind busy by fixing up their space here and there, and making casual conversation with other defense force members in neighboring tents, all in an effort not to worry too much. To trust Akira, like he promised.
Still, he can't hide the relief in his smile at the sight of those familiar, dorky glasses. ]
Oh, there you are. What took you so long?

[ Fushimi is hunting because he has knives. It's a special brand of Fushimi logic, even if he hates 1. expending effort, and 2. cleaning his knives off, but he's doing it anyway... or at least he's making an effort to look like he's doing it. He twirls a knife in his hand while looking like it's the most boring then he could possibly be doing, and then he throws the knife in a flourish of red flame --
-- which goes wild, the knife hitting exactly where it should and nailing a squirrel to a tree, but the fire crackling in a wall big enough and strong enough that the sheer heat threatens to set the entire forest ablaze.
Fushimi stares at it with a look of complete surprise for a solid half a second before he yells out a curse and manages to dampen the entire thing with enough blue aura to send out frost along all the undergrowth for a solid ten feet in every direction.
Sorry if your toes are cold. ]
What the hell. [ The half-cooked squirrel is a really weird aroma that only adds to the situation. Sorry. ]
2. daytime, activies
[ Fushimi's eyes go from the tug of war, to the ball, to the obstacle course. Fushimi's eyes slowly turn to gaze at the people that seem to be willing to engage in this absolute nonsense.
And then Fushimi crosses his arms and just says: ]
No. I'm taking a nap.
[ In the middle of the day??? When he could be having f-- hahaha, yeah, no.
Make him have fun, he's never touched the concept in his life. ]
3. nighttime, campfire/ghost stories;
[ Fushimi is making a mistake, and that mistake is: absentmindedly rolling a piece of a weird plant between his fingers, absentmindedly. He's only half-listening to the ghost stories -- he, of course, isn't scared of ghosts in the slightest, but he will file things away in his category of "things to scare Yata with later" -- but there isn't anything else pressing to deal with, and the fire is warm, so he's going to stay by it for now.
Except: the plant, unbeknownst to him, is one of the varieties that causes some side effects, which means that when someone else gives a loud finish to the ghost story they were telling --
Fushimi actually startles, and drops the crushed remnants of the plant.
Do you:
a; call him out on it?
b; call him out on it and tease him?
c; SUPER call him out on it?
d; all of the above.]
[ feel free to wildcard me! you can hmu on discord at yukimarimo#2784 if you'd like to plan anything! i'm also super down to have plants make fushimi cuddle people, thanks for coming to my ted talk ]

C. obstacle course and other activities
[Estelle had taken one look at the obstacle course and felt like a kid at a playground. It looked so fun! Estelle's idea of fun, anyway. Climbing and jumping were pretty easy for her, though more complex things that require thinking ahead take a bit longer for her to figure out. She was still trying to figure out how people did that roof jumping stuff, after all.
Eventually, she'll turn an eager grin over to whoever else is on the course with her, crimson eyes glinting with a friendly challenge.]
Hey... wanna race?
Nighttime
A. Ghost stories
[This is not Estelle's idea of a good time.
Headstrong and rash as Estelle can often be, it's probably going to come as a surprise to some that she's scared of ghosts. But it's pretty apparent when scary stories start being told around the fire she is very much not having fun with this, face pale and shoulders tense. The sounds of the forest around them only makes the stories more creepy, and poor Joshua is probably getting his hand crushed in a vice grip at some points or another.
The real kicker is around the climax of someone's story, when Estelle feels a sudden, icy feeling run down her back: like a cold, dead hand or something seriously freaking creepy!!!. She leaps to her feet like a rocket, yelling and glancing around warily.]
Gaaaah, stop it already!
B. Plantlife
[At some point later in the evening, Estelle makes a poor choice that really had seemed pretty harmless at the time: The plant itself had smelled so good, she thought she'd pick a few leaves to keep.
Unfortunately, the smell was as enticing as the plant was weird. When she returns to the center of camp she's smiling a little too wide, breaking out into giggles at things that really aren't all that funny and.... very.... very clingy afterwards.
Did you want a hug? Too bad, you're getting a hug. Yes, you. She might not even know you, but you are now her friend. She's relatively small but boy is she snuggly.]
Wildcard
[Estelle will be all over the place, as usual. Helping gather wood and hunting, playing games and chatting. Friends and strangers alike can feel free to drag her into something if they like!]
nighttime- b!
Once that's done, he laughs. Okay, he thinks. I can roll with this. ]
Haha, is this a team-building exercise? [ It might be??? Who knows. Momo, ever the adaptable one, wiggles a little to free one arm and pat the crown of Estelle's head. ] Or a punishment game...?! Should I feel bad that someone made you do this?!

It starts out well, with him lending a hand wherever he can with splitting logs for firewood and hunting for meat.
Any number of people would have seen him being his friendly and helpful self, which is what makes is so weird when...
1: Quit walking around with naked steel you're not Sengo. (14th late day)
Once the campfires are lit, Tonbokiri is glad for the spots of warmth around the campsite. But he soon finds himself restless.
He's not had a solid bout in forever! The quest to 'repell the skeleton army' was a complete letdown.
All of the best fighters in the town are gathered here! It's time to get down to having a real match.
Which is how Tonbokiri is striding towards you, unsheathed spear in hand, and an intense look in his eyes. He's obviously serious about finding a fight.
"You're in the Defence Force, so let's see your skill! Prepare yourself."
Might need to talk fast to remind him about that 'not everyone in the Force is a fighter' thing. He's become quite belligerent.
On the other hand, if you're up for a fight, don't hold back!
2: Who are you and what have you done with Tonbokiri? (14th late evening) [For anyone with existing CR, please!]
Once Tonbokiri finally comes down from ... whatever 'that' was, he hits another spot of trouble later in the evening.
Things becoming more quiet and settled around the camp. Around this time, Tonbokiri approaches you, his face flushed red and tone (oddly) plaintive.
"I plea with you, allow this one to use your lap as a pillow."
Was Tonbokiri ever this needy-looking? And did his speech just go up another notch in politeness?
3:
ManyMy strong hands makes for light work. (15th morning/day)Well... that was some evening... wasn't it.
In the morning Tonbokiri has become a helping fiend. Carrying a stack of firewood? A pillow? A leaf? A boulder?
"Please, allow me to carry that for you."
Taking down a tent? Making sure all the fires are out? Picking up any stray litter?
"Please, allow me to do that for you."
Please. Please allow him to work off his embarrassment. Even if you know nothing of it.
4: (obligitory) wildcard!
Feel free to surprise me with your own prompt, or send me a message over DW/plurk for a more tailored experience!

a. ghost stories
Uhhhh... I'm not the only one that heard that, right?
[Literal ghosts in a circle of ghost story telling. Not exactly how Rin expected the night to go, but frankly by now nothing really surprises him anymore.
After a round of nods assures him that he's not taken to hearing things, he pokes a stick at the nearest burning log in the fire pit and remains quiet for a moment to see if anyone else dared to take up the mantle after that interesting situation.
When the crackle of the fire is the only continuous noise, he clears his throat and offers:]
Sooo uh. Who wants to hear about the seven mysteries of my school?
c. cookout
[It's been a long day already. Hunting (something he turned out to actually be terrible at) and gathering wood. Random activities, and a failed attempt at the obstacle course. Not for lack of trying on his part, though.
A little bruised and dirt-smudged from his tumble on the obstacle course but no worse for wear or lacking in smiles, he can be found at the campfire prepping some additional meals for those who might not have the stomach or skill to deal with skinning mutant woodland creatures. Need something to eat but can't do it yourself? The kid with the wagging tail is the one to ask!]
iii.
b. chatter
[As the sky darkened in to that deep hue and things wound down for the night, Rin found himself laying back against a log that had been rolled over for sitting near the fire. Not a sky he was used to staring at, yet he was doing so now with a distant, thoughtful expression.
He's quiet for a long time, lost in his contemplation. If there is someone nearby, though, he might start a conversation with an interesting, if not somewhat depressing question:]
Y'ever wonder if our worlds are out there? Like if we're in some other place in space or whatever?
iii - b (because we wanted awkward and this is a good one for that)
It's possible. I'd like to think our worlds are out there.
[ She pauses for a moment. ]
Back in my world, we'd see two moons in the sky at night. I kind of miss that.

[Ib.]
[Joining the defense force into the forest eased Ryuu's worries. They were more capable people to hunt, he only knew how to fish, though he could gather firewood. The gray trees did distract him a little, he always have to remember that the colors aren't fully restored yet. Still he's able to finish his work and carry the firewood back to camp. However, he's feeling more affectionate than usual when he got back. He's pretty good at keeping his affection at bay, but he's really in the mood to hug someone or to sit close to them.]
[Ic.]
[Now that Ryuu has finished his work it's time for activities! He'll tackle the obstacle course a little later, right now he's ready to do tug of war! He grinned as he held a tight grip on the rope. He's ready to play!]
[Id.]
[After sleeping under the stars Ryuu woke up to help with clean up. Since he woke up early he cleaned up his things before going around to the others. He waved at someone before going up to them.]
Hey? Do you need some help? I can lift anything if you need me to.
[Nighttime]
[IIa.]
[Ryuu didn't know many scary stories off the top of his head. There were old stories his dad would tell him about the sea, though he's not sure if they're very scary. He doesn't mind listening to others tell their stories, they have been very entertaining. However, when the story ended he looked around when he heard the sounds coming from the forest.]
Um, are those sounds part of the story?
[IIc.]
[Cooking is something that Ryuu can do! It doesn't take long for him to finish his food. After he finished eating he looked around to see if there's someone else that needs his help. Ryuu walked over to the nearest person and took a seat next to them.]
Need some help with something?
[IVb.]
[Ryuu doesn't know if it's the fire or sleeping under the stars, but he's feeling very good and warm. It reminded him of how he felt after he took a drink. He's ready to join in with any song that starts around the campfire before singing some of his own. It's a good thing he can still sing when he's feeling drunk.]
[V. Wildcard!]
{Got any idea you want to do? Let me know! You can PM his journal or hit me up on plurk at sunnycrow!]
