WHO: Minato and youuuu
WHERE: The town, the woods, everywhere in between
WHEN: June 3 - June 10
WHAT: Lack of sleep does some unfortunate things to people, it really does. ie punishments really, really suck
WARNINGS: A lot of this is just very, very dumb
June 3/4
[At first, he's just miserable. A night or two without sleep is doable, but really, really awful, and so Minato can be found mostly wandering, restless, especially late at night. Which is very, very unusual for him (usually he'd be asleep by now), but don't mind him as he stalks about the town with his hands shoved deeply into his pockets, occasionally stopping to yawn massively and lean against a wall.
He always ends up standing back up pretty promptly, though, no matter how sleepy he looks.
Weird.
Or he might come visit at some obscene hour of the morning if he thinks your character will be awake, almost desperate to talk to someone to get his mind off of this. He will definitely knock on doors at all hours of the night if he thinks your character would sincerely be awake at that time of night.
Please help him.]
June 5/6
[It gets much, much worse. Minato's wanderings are almost desperate now; lying down does nothing, leaning against things does nothing, he cannot sleep no matter what he does and it's starting to take its toll. He's definitely stumbling, staggering occasionally as if drunk, and if you try to stop him he may not even process that you're calling out to him.
Hm.
Worrisome.
It probably comes to a worrisome head when he's crossing one of the bridges in Bluo, feet dragging--and then sways, and topples right off the side, blacking out for a brief moment. Bye, Minato.]
June 8
[At this point he probably shouldn't be outside but he's here anyway, and he seems to be...talking to a tree? He's trying, but he clearly thinks it's someone he knows, and while his voice is low and slurred, he is trying to legitimately have a conversation with this tree.
It's probably a good thing he stopped to talk to the tree instead of wandering into the woods in this state? Maybe you should call out to him...
But he's definitely hallucinating, and only seems to notice if he's not interrupted when he stumbles, and knocks his head against said tree, startling back to himself abruptly with both hands clasped to his forehead.
And then he thumps his forehead against the tree again, this time purposefully and with plain aggravation.]

[And with that in mind, there's no way Akira's about to let him climb the stairs. Or at least, there would be no way, except getting down the stairs means about an hour trying to get back up them, unless he summons Dominion again.]
Will you be okay?
no subject
[Probably. Either way, the glass has to be dealt with, so--]
Just a second.
[He's going to push himself up (he sways from the vertigo only briefly), and then he heads on down the stairs. brb, Akira. At least he doesn't trip.]
no subject
Thankfully, he doesn't hear anything.
He'll just wait here, then...]
no subject
It's... going okay, but eventually Minato's kind of swaying as he does. Hopefully he doesn't fall over.
He needs about 5000 naps.]

[Akira holds out his hand for the broom. The least he can do is clean up the mess he made.]
no subject
[Still, even as he's asking that, he'll willingly hand over the broom so he can sit down.
Thanks, Akira, you're the best.]
Sorry, I... I've been a little out of it lately...
no subject
[Honestly they're lucky Minato isn't hallucinating or tearing his hair out or something. At least, Akira thinks those are probably side effects of not sleeping.
But he will take the broom, and clean everything up as best he can with his hands shackled together. At least there's a lot of give in the chain.]
no subject
If you leave it in a pile off to the side where nobody will cut themselves, that's probably good enough... Thanks, Akira.
no subject
[He does so, getting it all into a pile off against the wall. At least it won't be in the way, until someone can clean it out of the room.]
You don't have to thank me. I broke it, anyway.
no subject
Yeah, but you broke it to check on me, right...? I appreciate that, by the way. Thanks for worrying about me.
no subject
[He shuffles his way over to the bed now, and sits on it. The chains make a clinking noise as he puts his hands in his lap, though he's learned to completely ignore it by now.]
This can't keep up much longer...
no subject
[In all honesty, his own lack of sleep aside:]
Your seems like a pretty big pain to deal with too. Have you been okay this week?
no subject
[A pause, and he fiddles with his bangs before he continues.]
This is the first time I've left my house since it started, though. [Hard to move.]
no subject
That sounds...really, really boring.
[He doesn't envy Akira that punishment at all.]
They knew what would bother us, huh...? Whoever assigned us these punishments.
no subject
[He's thinking of Akechi's punishment, too. Everyone seems to have gotten something that will mess with them, and some of it relates to things they've never told anyone.
It's a bit alarming.]
Too much.
no subject
[Honestly. He just sighs, shaking his head a little.]
I'm not sure how, but they definitely do. The punishments... the quests, even, and things like that? It just feels like they do.
no subject
[He's had this discussion with Joshua too. It just feels like they know far too much about them.]
It makes it seem like whoever brought us here was... picking us, on purpose. Almost no one here has a completely normal life. So many have powers, or fighting experience...
[Like they were building an army or something.]
no subject
[It makes some sort of sense, he supposes. None of them are normal by any means...]
I guess us having abilities and powers like that makes it easier for us to complete the quests. So maybe you're onto something there.
[He wonders...]
I wonder if they've been scoping us out for awhile, then.
no subject
It's possible. If Igor is able to watch us, why not others?
[There might be a whole world of cosmic beings out there, just... watching.]
We can't rule anything out at this point, I guess.
no subject
He's just going to go ahead and point out what they're both thinking.]
That's...really, really creepy.
no subject
[He makes a bit of a face, scrunching up his nose.]
I almost wish I hadn't thought of it. [Ignorance is bliss.]
