[Did Pyra tell her about him? She'd been so vague before, he has no idea where to begin.]

[ SHE... It's been five hundred years since she's interacted with anyone but Pyra. This is strange, so very strange...! ] I do. [ Whatever Pyra's experienced, Mythra has seen as well. They're the same, after all.

[ ....Oh her Architect, can't she just be nice for once? She actually wants to meet the people here, Akira included, so can't she actually be okay with being happy to see others??! What is wrong with her?!

Maybe she can try something Pyra-ish. ] Like... I've seen your smile before.

--Like, I've seen it before through Pyra, that's what I mean!

Oh... Yeah. [What would his smile be if not very him? He looks a little puzzled, but she seems to be struggling for what to say, so he'll try to help out.]

I trust you, Akira. And-- don't you remember? In the church, you promised me that if I should ever lose control, you'd do whatever you could to stop me.

[ Pyra would have spoken that a little more emotionally, sadly, but Mythra speaks much more directly and matter-of-factly. She lets him take that in, and then continues without further pause. ] Pyra isn't strong enough to destroy the world, but I am.

[ And finally her gaze softens just enough to be noticeable. ] I thought I should... properly meet the idiot who made that sort of promise.

[The smile slides as effectively off his face as if he'd been doused in ice cold water. Right, the promise. He'd been trying not to think about it too much and had forgotten to factor it into this at all. He shoves his hands into his pockets, frowning.]

I want to protect you, if I can. The promise is just a last resort. [And yet a promise he knows he'd keep, if the alternative was countless others being hurt... Not many others on Chroma would be strong enough to match her kind of strength.]

Whether you're Pyra or Mythra... I care about you.

[ And she.......

She cares about him, too. Of course she does. Whatever Pyra cares about, Mythra does as well, if only a little differently. Guilt flashes across her expression for a moment as she sees him frown; really, what did she expect to happen here, the conversation not to get heavy? ] ....Hey.

[ She takes a step forward, giving him a brief pat on his shoulder. ]

All of that sounds kinda bad, doesn't it? But it'll be alright. [ She offers him a fleeting, but not less genuine smile. ] And-- I'm not going to hurt anyone if I can't help it, either.

That's why I constructed Pyra, so that I could stay sealed here.

[For a moment he actually feels reassured, at least until--] Constructed her? You... made Pyra?

[If he wasn't confused before, he is now. Pyra is real to him, no less real than the woman before him, that he couldn't possibly think of her as some kind of construct. She's her own person.]

[ She says with a nod, and a rather proud sort of smile froms upon her lips. It's not quite the same like a mother would have when speaking of their child, but it's similar enough. ] She's another self that I constructed. Made to be a seal.... weaker than me. Less dangerous.

Better, than I ever was. [ If it's one good thing she can claim to have made for the world, she'd like to imagine it was Pyra. ] What do you think?

[Beautiful, kind, warm, generous, soft, caring, selfless... He can think of so many ways to say what he really thinks, but maybe Mythra already knows. Knows even the outright display of affection and desire he'd offered Pyra while her emotions were altered.

He swallows.]

She's amazing. Thank you for making her. [He bows, suddenly formal, as a sign of respect.]

[ She can't help but feel a soft, light flutter of the energy within her as he thanks her. It's both pride and... gratefulness, to him, for considering someone that she's made is good enough to be considered his friend... and cared for so much. She can't feel envious of Pyra, not really, not when they're the same.

But still... ]

...Thank you, Akira.

[ Had she been met him by being awakened by force, or by some dire circumstance, she would not be acting quite so amicable and calm... But it's been months now that she's come-to and watched Pyra grow bit by bit-- and Mythra, by extension-- that she's actually wanted to meet those with whom she's made bonds. The only strange thing about this it that Mythra knows others through Pyra, but they do not know her. She realizes that there is a imbalance there, in terms of bonds...

But she wants to work on those, too.

Hah, to think that she's changed without even stepping foot in the physical world for over five hundred years... ]

You know... everything that she's said to you, I feel the same way.

[ She wants to make it clear that they are the same on that front. ]

Remember when we first met? Remember what we said at the end?

[ She smiles. ] We don't have to be alone anymore. Pyra doesn't have to be alone anymore, because she has someone like you... And now.

[ Walking over to him, she places a hand on his shoulder to lift him up from his bow. ] You not only have Pyra, but me too. [ Her hand squeezes his shoulder, reassuring. See? She can be comforting! When she actually tries. ] Alright?

[Akira looks up when he feels the hand on his shoulder, and he straightens. He was being formal with her out of respect, but he can see that Mythra is sweet in her own way, just like Pyra. She's not really a stranger he needs to act distant with, when she's been around all along.]

All right.

[Then, slowly, his expression breaks into a soft smile, and he pulls Mythra into a gentle hug. If she's just like Pyra, he won't treat her any differently, just like Mythra's feelings for him are the same as Pyra's.]

I'm glad I could meet you. I'll protect both of you as best as I can, so don't be a stranger, okay?

[Even if he knows now that she's always watching through Pyra, he wants to get to know Mythra, too. She shouldn't need to feel like she needs to hide away forever.]

[ Aw geez-- ]

Pyra may be very graceful with her feelings and emotionally intelligent, as Mythra made her to be, but she made her to be that way because Mythra lacked such qualities. She's working on them, of course, but compared to Pyra... she is a little stiffer... ]

[ ....But it's a stiffness that soon subsides after a bit of a delay. Can she have something like this? It's been five hundred years since she's interacted with anyone. And it's...

It's nice, it's warm.

Slowly, her arms lift to wrap around his back. ]

[ She speaks softy, if a little nervously because this is rather new to her. ] ....I don't plan on being a stranger. [ That's a weighty comment, coming from someone who is basically sealed within Pyra and hasn't stepped out of her this entire time. ]

Er, you know what I mean. [ Not exactly knowing what to do with her hands, she decides to pat his back comfortingly. ] It's better if I stay here, but you... You can come back. [ ... ] If you like.

[Akira isn't holding her tight-- she could easily get away if she isn't comfortable with the intimacy. He's used to dealing with someone who struggles with emotions, with many years of friendship with Ryo, so how to react to Mythra's stiffness comes naturally to him.

Still, he's happy when she seems to relax into him instead and feels that hand on his back, eliciting a soft smile from him.]

We just met, and you're already inviting me back to your place? [He teases, pulling back a little to look at her. Never mind that she technically already did invite him.] I'd like that.

[And he's sure Pyra will tell him if Mythra wants to speak to him in future, too, just as she has today.]

Does it get lonely? Never having people see you, only Pyra?

[ .................................Aaand she makes a little bit of a pout at his comment, although it's only for show because she knows he's just teasing her as well. Her hand on his back gives him a firmer pat as if to say don't push your luck, but she moves on from there.

Because he's asked her about being lonely. ]
