[open] It's a (very belated) birthday log!
WHO: Kaoru, Shiho and friends
WHERE: Town hall
WHEN: Last week of February
WHAT: It's Shiho's birthday
WARNINGS: None probably.
I: Food!
[What is a party without food? Kaoru can't cook but she happens to know people who can! There's even a cake! She may have borrowed a table from another house for the purpose of keeping the food.
Though, oddly enough, there's also a small card (all of them different colour and sizes, some of them looked like they'd been gently folded then ripped along the fold) beside each dish with a number on it. There's also a list (all handwritten in pink), with the same numbers all listed on one side and lines beside it like something you should fill out.
On the top it says: Guess Who Made This Dish!
Are you here to play or are you just here to eat?]
II: Games!
[There is a hastily written sign on one side that says: NO DANCING.
But every party needs entertainment so beside there is a sign with game suggestions like: Truth or Dare, Never Have I Ever...or maybe you'd like to take your list from the food table and see if you got more correct than the person beside you!]

You and the fact that when you lift one of those bookshelves, you're not allowed to drop a single book or else we'll fine you.

Then again you can't exactly see anything with him being fully dressed, and he isn't exactly planning on stripping. Just gonna mentally shrug there.]
That would probably make for quite a lucrative performance, if there were any sort of venue to perform it on...or anything to earn out of it.....regardless, I'll try my best. [And maybe he can think of a way to do something similar when he leaves this place! A new mantou-winning strategy.]
no subject
Well, it's not like you can perform it in the library... what about if we just stole-... I mean, borrowed a bookshelf? Or made one out of solid steel and then filled it with rocks!
[.....Is that even a bookshelf anymore??]
no subject
Er, while I realize the shelves may not necessarily belong to anyone in particular, stealing them still wouldn't be particularly appropriate...and I'm not sure how you'd go about building a steel bookshelf to begin with, in this place.
[If you can even call that a bookshelf???]
no subject
It's not stealing if they don't belong to anyone. If anything, we're just moving the furniture. It's practically recycling. And I don't know about the steel one either, but maybe one of us could wish as hard as we can to get one.
no subject
[Does he even know that word? It's something he does, sure, but vocabulary-wise....]
Wouldn't it be better to wish for more practical things? Good weapons, for example, or comfortable clothes.
no subject
[She believes in you, Xie Lian.]
no subject
Well, I--if you manage to get your hands on one, I'll happily try showing you, I suppose.
[He's confident in that part, at least...!!]
no subject
I'll get my hands on one somehow. [............somehow. She has no idea how that'll be done.]
