WHO: Caramia and company WHERE: Yeah WHEN: November WHAT: Quests, mostly WARNINGS: None atm Ari, Caramia and Kyrie - Sphinx quest with a bunch of losers.
[ Quests! Questing! Doing things with friends! Always a fun thing to do, really, but especially so when it came to Kyrie. Caramia never particularly cared about doing them all that often, sans the ones that seemed to benefit other people or when he was asked to, but if Kyrie was around and willing, how could Caramia reasonably pass something like that up? Even with the new chill in the air that Caramia could honestly do without.
Alas, he wasn't going to pass up the chance to just pull other people along with him, of course. Silly Kyrie, did you honestly think you could spend some personal time with your boyfriend? Hahaha that's cute. The literal moment he saw anyone he knew that he'd enjoy the company of- in this case, Ari- he stopped whatever they were talking about with a quick "hold on!" and darted off for the boy. ]
Oi!! [ He approached with the usual grin, taking Ari's hands in his own. ] Ari, are you busy?? Have you done any of the new quests? [ Don't bother answering those, he's just going to continue anyway. ] We could use the company!! Sbrigati, it'll be fun.
[ No one got a say in the matter, actually. Caramia aside, of course. Instead he's just pulling Ari along and gesturing for Kyrie to catch up so they can have a merry time going through the forest to talk to an almost-lion. Sorry?? ]
[ On the upside, it is incredibly easy to drag Ari into things.
On the downside, it is incredibly easy to drag Ari into things. Both literally—he's short and rather noodle-armed—and figuratively, because he never says 'no' when he probably should. Caramia doesn't give him a chance to, anyway, before he's happily pulling the boy along.
Ari goes, of course. ]
> "I haven't done any of them yet, no..."
[ The boy volunteers sheepishly as Caramia leads the way. ]
[ It wasn't as if there were a blizzard roaring outside or anything of the like, but the way Caramia stared out the window certainly would've said otherwise. Of course, just a little bit of snow was... tolerable. He would prefer to go without it, of course, but there wasn't an need to complain. But... the last time there was a sudden change in temperature on the very same day weird anomalies started showing up- in this case, the mirrors- the weather didn't exactly let up.
That, in itself, worried Caramia. He supposed there was no reason to worry yet, since this only happened once before, but he couldn't say he was exactly optimistic that things would be different this time around. This town didn't seem so forgiving. He squeezed the handle of his mirror, turning back to Kyrie and joining him at the kitchen table with a heavy slump into one of the chairs that probably would've gotten him scolded were it not for their current situation. ]
I don't suppose... these mirrors are secretly portals themselves, too?
[ As he asked, his fingers gently tapped the surface of the mirror. Of course, all this did was cause his reflection to flinch, slinking away to comment something along the lines of "too loud". ]
I think I would've much rathered us endure the heatwave than... that. [ He briefly gestured to the window. ]
11/5 Ari, Kyrie, and Caramia
