Right, of course you were. Of course werewolves happened. Bet the Loch Ness monster's gonna show up next.

... wait, did anyone get turned into werewolves, then? Isn't that how they work?

[She looks sheepish and her hand goes to the sleeve of her uniform which still had four small puncture holes on it from when she was bitten.]

Yeah. Some people got bitten and turned into werewolves, but then we found the cure so it's all fine now.

There's a cure for being bitten by a werewolf? What is it -- rubbing silver on the bite or something?

[ All he knows about werewolves is from movies, but he's a medic after all, and he can't help being curious. But he also adds, ]

And, um. [ Leaning over to get a slightly better look at her uniform. ] Want me to try and fix those up? The holes?

No, but there was silver in the recipe, I think. And a whole bunch of other stuff people found in the forest. Shiho might remember the recipe.

[Because Shiho is amazing.]

Could you? I'd normally hand it over to--[Babel's R&D Department. But uh. She can't say that so there's a short pause.] Minamoto! So I'm not sure how to fix it myself! You can pierce it with a needle though. [It is, after all, supposed to function like armour.]
