[How long do you think this answer is, Kaoru? Then she starts flying her and Shiho over. Maybe the distance was too short to make that necessary but she wants to be able to make a quick escape if needed.]

[Flying is the best idea for a quick escape. That and spiking the sphinx on the ground like a volleyball if it attempts to follow.

With that in mind, Shiho relaxes as they get closer, doing her best impression of a harmless high school girl.]

Oh no~ You're even more impressive up close~ I think you have a small bit of snow on you. Right.... here.

[And she's going to get closer than that, reaching out as if she wanted to touch a sphinx which is a bad idea in any situation, maybe??]
